ZTE Nubia Z17 Lite
A couple of months ago ZTE announced Nubia Z17 with an impressive 8 GB RAM, quick charge 4.0 and the latest Snapdragon 835. Now the company has decided to launch a younger sibling under the name of Nubia Z17 Lite. The younger sibling will have the looks and footprint of Nubia Z17, but it will not come with impressive features like its elder brother.
ZTE Nubia Z17 Lite Specifications:
ZTE Nubia Z17 Lite with come with Snapdragon 653 with octa-core CPU, Adreno 510 GPU, 6 GB RAM and 64 GB internal storage. It will have 5.5 inches edge to edge display just like the elder brother. However, it will not have microSD support. This might disappoint people who love to carry a lot of media on their phone.
ZTE Nubia Z17 Lite Camera:
There is a major change in the camera department as compared to the Nubia Z17. The company has ditched the dual camera setup of 12 MP + 23 MP sensors in favor of two 13 MP sensors. One of the sensor is RGB with a f/2.2 aperture while the other one is monochrome. The camera setup looks similar to what Nokia 8 and Huawei P10 has.
This phone uses the IMX258 sensor from Sony. However, the front facing camera still has a 16 MP sensor with 80-degree wide angle lens.
The major disappoint is that Nubia Z17 Lite does not come with quick charge 4.0. Instead, it has quick charge 3.0. It has 3,200 mAh battery which is enough to keep you running for the entire day. There is a fingerprint sensor on the back of the phone. It is the same fingerprint sensor just like Nubia Z17 has.
Nubia Z17 Lite will be available in the market starting from September 8th. It has a print tag of CNY2,499 or $380. All in all, it looks a pretty device with decent specifications.
