Thank you! It was a wonderful greeting to the cabin, a sight I don't see living in a big city.

I can't live in the city, I get a form of anxiety. I've lived in the country for so long, I couldn't go back without loosing my sanity.

What keeps you in the "Shitty"

There were times when I hated the city. When I had long commutes and depended on vehicles to get around (traffic - the worst) it was really depressing. After moving away for a few years I returned and discovered living local in Minneapolis. The city has an incredible network of parks, lakes, rivers, and trails. I can quickly and easily access nature via foot, bicycle, or a very short drive. My grocery co-op is less than a mile away, I typically work from 0-5 miles from home, and most of my closest friends live in my area. It's a whole different experience. Yet, it's definitely not for everyone.
