Ginger Apple Smoothie

  Hi y’all my princess and I just got back from story time at the library, at my daughter’s age this is really more about me being able to get out and chat with other mommies.  The smoothie I had this morning is an excellent smoothie for mommies to be that have morning sickness or anyone that gets motion sickness. Ginger is known as a natural cure for nausea and other symptoms associated with it, like dizziness. Ginger also has anti-inflammatory properties and is high in antioxidants. The apple in this smoothie is high in fiber too, another plus if you are pregnant.   

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 apple 
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple
  • 1/2 tsp grated fresh ginger

Put all ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth.  Enjoy!
