I also almost fell into this hole of not saving my 12 seed phrase. Fortunately for me, I copied the 12 word seed phrase to the clipboard (via keyboard shortcut Ctrl + C).
When I moved away (change application window via Alt + Tab) from the browser window to my text file, the snax wallet popup already disappeared. So luckily for me when I pasted it on the text file (via Ctrl + V), my 12 word seed phrase was still there.
