눈이 참 좋습니다 / Obbsessed with snow

눈이 오면 괜시리 기분이 좋아집니다. 항상 이벤트처럼 느껴집니다. 전 꼭 자전거를 타고 다녀서 눈이 오면 잘 못 타게 되는데도 눈이 좋습니다. 부모님 운전 길이 걱정되어도 눈이 좋습니다. 강아지 산책 때마다 발 시렵다고 조용히 발을 들고 안아달라 쳐다보는 것도 좋습니다. 친구들과 눈으로 장난칠 수 있는 것도 좋습니다. 발자국을 내어 들여다 본 적 없는 내 신발바닥의 모양을 보는 것도 좋습니다. 눈이 녹아 얼어붙어 미끄러워진 길 위로 깝죽대는 것도 좋습니다. 차가운 공기에 좋아하는 사람에게 목도리며 장갑이며 내어 줄 수 있는 것도 좋습니다. 겨울이 좋은 거 같네요.

When it snows, I find myself inexplicably happy. It always feels like an event.
I ride a bicycle everywhere, so when it snows I can barely ride at all, But I still love it.
I worry about my parents driving on snowy roads, and still, I love the snow.
I love how my dog, during winter walks, quietly lifts one paw, cold, and looks at me asking to be held.
I love being able to fool around with friends, throwing snow at each other.
I love leaving footprints behind and discovering the pattern on the soles of my shoes-something I’ve never really looked at before. I love messing around, sliding like I’m skating on icy roads.
I love that the cold air gives me an excuse to offer my scarf, my gloves, to someone I like.

I think I like winter.
