Soccerverse is a Web3 football management game that lives entirely on-chain, but for me it has become above all the "world" where I've decided to build my career as a coach, agent, and small-time digital football investor. In this first episode I tell both what makes the game unique and how my personal experience was born and evolved, up to the creation of the Victory Vault project and the new challenge on the Inter bench.

What is Soccerverse and Why It's Worth Your Attention

Soccerverse is a multiplayer, decentralized football manager designed to last over time, where clubs, players, results, and economies are recorded on the blockchain. You're not in a simple centralized "temporary" server, but in a persistent football universe, where what you build today can matter even in future seasons.

The game runs on Web3 infrastructure (on the Polygon blockchain) and every significant action generates on-chain transactions, ensuring transparency and censorship resistance. This approach makes the game world verifiable and, above all, not dependent on a single entity that could shut everything down overnight.

Roles, Economy, and "Influence" in the Soccerverse World

One of the things that struck me most is the variety of possible roles: you can be a manager, player agent, "influence" investor, or combine all this into a single identity. In my case, besides coaching, I'm also an agent for some players, following their growth, contracts, and transfer opportunities to enhance their careers.

The economy revolves around SVC (Soccerverse Coins), the in-game currency used for internal operations, salaries, and trading, linked to the WCHI token through a peer-to-peer market between players. The concept of "influence" represents tokenized shares in clubs and players, which give both economic rights and decision-making weight, turning clubs into real mini-DAO football organizations.

My Journey: Parma, Growth and Victory Vault

My Soccerverse adventure started on the bench, leading Parma, in a competitive context that I had to learn to read step by step. In the first season I achieved an honorable 12th place, crucial for understanding the pace, market, and game meta, while in the second season came an important "statement" with a 4th place that certified the technical project's growth.

During that time, the idea of Victory Vault was also born, a Red Bull-style holding, if you will, more oriented toward roleplay than technical formalization, because in the game all accounts are equal, there are no companies. Victory Vault represents my investor identity: a sort of vehicle with which I enter small clubs, try to improve their results, and in the meantime seek to enhance the investment in terms of influence and economic potential.

Today: From Surprise 4th Place to Inter Coach

Arriving at season 3, my journey takes another leap forward with my arrival on the Inter bench. We're talking about a prestigious club, holder of the Coppa Italia, but coming off a championship season below expectations, so it's not a simple "walk in the park" but a real sporting challenge.

Here all my Soccerverse roles intersect: coach called to bring Inter back to consistently compete at the top, agent who must best manage the enhancement of some key players, and "holding manager" who looks at the long-term impacts on Victory Vault. It's exactly this mix of tactics, economy, personal storytelling, and the Discord community that keeps me hooked on the game season after season.

Soccerverse è un gestionale calcistico Web3 che vive interamente on-chain, ma per me è diventato soprattutto il "mondo" dove ho deciso di costruire la mia carriera da allenatore, agente e piccolo investitore calcistico digitale. In questo primo episodio racconto sia cosa rende unico il gioco, sia come è nata e si è evoluta la mia esperienza personale, fino alla creazione del progetto Victory Vault e alla nuova sfida sulla panchina dell'Inter.

Cos'è Soccerverse e perché merita attenzione

Soccerverse è un football manager multiplayer, decentralizzato e pensato per durare nel tempo, dove club, giocatori, risultati ed economie sono registrati sulla blockchain. Non sei in un semplice server centralizzato "a tempo", ma in un universo calcistico persistente, in cui quello che costruisci oggi può contare anche nelle stagioni successive.

Il gioco gira su infrastruttura Web3 (sulla blockchain Polygon) e ogni azione significativa genera transazioni on-chain, garantendo trasparenza e resistenza alla censura. Questo approccio rende il mondo di gioco verificabile e, soprattutto, non dipendente da un singolo soggetto che possa spegnere tutto da un giorno all'altro.

Ruoli, economia e "influenza" nel mondo Soccerverse

Una delle cose che più mi ha colpito è la varietà di ruoli possibili: puoi essere manager, agente di calciatori, investitore in "influenza" o combinare tutto questo in un'unica identità. Nel mio caso, oltre ad allenare, sono anche agente di alcuni calciatori, seguendone la crescita, i contratti e le opportunità di trasferimento per valorizzarne la carriera.

L'economia ruota attorno a SVC (Soccerverse Coins), la valuta di gioco usata per operazioni interne, stipendi e trading, collegata poi al token WCHI tramite un mercato peer-to-peer tra giocatori. Il concetto di "influenza" rappresenta quote tokenizzate su club e giocatori, che danno sia diritti economici sia peso decisionale, trasformando le società in vere e proprie mini-DAO calcistiche.

Il mio percorso: Parma, crescita e Victory Vault

La mia avventura in Soccerverse è iniziata in panchina, alla guida del Parma, in un contesto competitivo che ho dovuto imparare a leggere passo dopo passo. Nella prima stagione ho centrato un onorevole dodicesimo posto, fondamentale per capire ritmo, mercato e meta del gioco, mentre nella seconda stagione è arrivato uno "statement" importante con un quarto posto che ha certificato la crescita del progetto tecnico.

In quell'arco di tempo è nata anche l'idea di Victory Vault, una holding stile Red Bull per intenderci, più orientata al roleplay che a una formalizzazione tecnica, perché nel gioco tutti gli account sono uguali, non esistono le aziende. Victory Vault rappresenta la mia identità da investitore: una sorta di veicolo con cui entro in piccoli club, provo a migliorarne i risultati e, nel frattempo, cerco di valorizzare l'investimento in termini di influenza e potenziale economico.

Oggi: dal quarto posto a sorpresa alla guida tecnica dell'Inter

Arrivato alla stagione 3, il mio percorso compie un ulteriore salto di qualità con l'approdo sulla panchina dell'Inter. Parliamo di un club prestigioso, detentore della Coppa Italia, ma reduce da una stagione di campionato al di sotto delle aspettative, quindi non è una semplice "passeggiata" ma una vera sfida sportiva.

Qui si incrociano tutti i miei ruoli in Soccerverse: allenatore chiamato a riportare l'Inter stabilmente ai vertici, agente che deve gestire al meglio la valorizzazione di alcuni giocatori chiave, e "holding manager" che guarda agli impatti di lungo periodo su Victory Vault. È esattamente questo mix fatto di tattica, economia e storytelling personale oltre che la community su Discord che mi tiene agganciato al gioco stagione dopo stagione.
