Social Network - Threads

A social network app, where I have an account, is known as Threads. This social network, in itself, is an extension of Instagram. Therefore, to create an account on Threads, a user must have an Instagram account. The app, in itself, was created as an alternative to Twitter/X, after Elon Musk has purchased it. The features of the app are similar to early period of Twitter. Users can follow other users. They can also put posts on their walls, on this app known as Threads. In addition, they can repost those Threads, similar to retweets on Twitter. At the same time, they can reply to the Threads, and create discussion. Unlike Twitter, this app does not allow Direct Messaging. Nevertheless, I do not see a problem with it, since it is an extension of Instagram, which does allow it, in it's own platform. However, a feature, available on this app, is the availability to make an account public or private. Similar to Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, and TikTok, where users can choose their own profile privacy options. I was an early adopter of this app, and I am still using this app. I mainly use this app to post information about movies, that I am currently watching, or interesting articles, that I have read.
