Why solar :??

I've been asked by a few why solar and not a wind turbine . Short answer for here is it just wasn't worth the time of day to use a wind turbine . I know a lot of people say that wind is always blowing . But if that wind doesn't blow with enough volume to start the turbine its useless until they develop newer more efficient with less friction that inst a arm and a leg. I used a small solar panel and a small wind turbine for a while to see what one would be more cost effective for my area.  The solar won by far .  Next will be adding another 5 kw later on and hopefully adding a ev to the vehicle . Motorcycle and a big van is all i have right now. Will be nice to pull up and know im charging from the sun not paying a ton for fuel to get to point a to point b.
