Bridging the writing gaps in life

My education lasted from 1974 to 1989. Anything after that was vanity. Snuck in some writing between 1990 and 1997, but my stubbornness led me to stop from 1998 to 2011. By 2011, my writing nearly died. In 2012, I nearly died twice. Since 2012, I've been writing ever since.

These hiatus or sabbaticals in my life were critical. They were not vacations, as I look back. But sixteen years of education was all I got. That's how much my mom got, so I thought 'that's all I needed,' I was wrong. I needed at least four more years.

Then I became a slave to the insurance industry; which made me think up the 'lifetime lawsuit,' which I'll expound later; and 29 years of euphoric ignorance. It was 'skip to my lieu,' for almost three decades, like everything was alright and nothing was wrong. Something was terribly wrong. My writing almost died with me, and I neglected myself. My caveat is: don't give up on writing.

Transamerica sired my literary baby, K. Brown and my worst nightmare, the lifetime lawsuit. I use apostrophes and semi colons, a lot.
