Good Morning Everyone!

Over this weekend I was having breakfast with my fiance and my mother. Was trying to explain cryptocurrency to Mom in a broad term. You know the term...MAGIC INTERNET MONEY!

But Mom asked me a very important question... What happens if the internet goes down?

Follow me down this rabbit hole for a little bit...

I am new to this space and don't know a whole lot about the intricacies of the internet and how it is maintained and controlled. I can however make a very broad assumption, and please correct me if I am wrong!

All internet physical infrastructure is owned and maintained by for profit companies or governments. (Centralized power)
I'm talking about the Fiber Optic cables, and satellite communication sites. These are the backbones of the internet. they allow our ideas to be transmitted thru the ether to the other side of the globe. But what protects us from a centralized power just pulling the plug and putting us into a internet blackout.

Here is what I want to have a conversation about:

We have massive amounts of money moving into the cryptocurrency markets. In the last 30 days we have grown from $30 Billion to $80 Billion dollars. That is a lot of money. As a reference NASA's 2017 Budget is only $19 billion dollars.

I have a dream that thru the use of blockchain technology, we will be able to fund and build a not for profit decentralized internet infrastructure that is controlled and voted upon by every user of the system. I believe that we will need to reach into space to make this possible.

Please lets start a conversion about it below.

Please Share this Story. I want as many people to see it as possible.

REMEMBER PEOPLE, WE ARE FIGHTING A WAR AGAINST CONTROL, LAZINESS, AND GOOD ENOUGH! GO BUILD SOMETHING TO CREATE A BETTER FUTURE!
