Hemidactylus mabouia
Tiene una escama transparente cubriendo cada ojo, por lo cual no presenta párpados móviles. El color del cuerpo es grisáceo en el dorso y un poco más claro en el vientre. El dorso presenta una serie de bandas transversales más obscuras, de aspecto sinuoso. La mayoría de las escamas dorsales son granulares, pero algunas son un poco mayores y de aspecto tubercular (Patterson y Bannister 1987). Los poros glandulares preanales y femorales forman una serie continua de entre 15 y 30; las escamas tuberculares dorsales tienen aspecto de triedros y se hallan dispersos de manera irregular (Smith y Taylor 1950).
