*A Villa de Cura, mi pueblo natal*
Fuiste llamado la puerta del llano
paso obligado a otros horizontes,
de una gran mezcla resultan tus habitantes,
pueblo trabajador soñador y pujante.
Hacedor de muchas historias,
Venezuela, de Aragua Zamora,
por tu suelo han pasado muchos caminantes
que te han dejado recuerdos de gloria.
Pueblo de gentilicio idealista.
Abrigaste en tu seno a Ezequiel Zamora,
fiero luchador con ideales de justicia,
a quien hoy se le rinde honor y gloria.
Fuiste abrigo para Juan de Dios Agraz,
quien entre gritos y choques de armas llevó su andar,
como corneta del libertador
en busca de la libertad.
Pueblo de bohemios y poetas,
desde Rafael Bolivar Coronado, Sanabria Mendez y Lapenta,
hasta otras generaciones y la nuestra
que han esparcido su lírica,
por tu suelo villacurano hasta otras tierras.
Un bonito canto y homenaje al pueblo donde se nace. Con natural admiración voto este post de luciluz.
