Protein truffles post workout - Only 3 ingredients!

This simple recipe is ideal for when you need a quick snack after training, with some protein and carbohydrates. From only 3 ingredients that you probably already have in the kitchen, these balls or protein truffles (not chocolate), are the simplest to improvise. At 47 kcal per ball or truffle, a serving of 3 balls is 141 kcal and offers an amount of 8.1 grams of protein and 24 grams of carbohydrates. And it's low in sugar! Only 5.1 grams in total.

Balls of vegetable protein, banana and oats

INGREDIENTS

  • cup of oat flakes
  • serving of vegetable protein powder vanilla flavor
  • banana

INSTRUCTIONS

Pour the oat flakes and protein in a processor or minipimer for one minute, until the oat flakes are crushed, but not completely.
Add the banana and relight until a thick, flexible dough forms.
Take the resulting paste and make 12 balls, keeping the rest in an airtight container in the fridge.
Put the 12 truffles on a tray and put it in the oven for 20 minutes.

Made with vegetable protein powder, they are also suitable for vegans. And they can be made for coeliacs, using gluten-free oats. If you are allergic to nuts, you will be glad to know that they do not contain almonds, peanuts, nuts or similar. They are subtly sweet, soft and pasty, made with simple ingredients and easy to manipulate. A light snack for the stomach!

Of course, do not hesitate to vary the recipe to your liking and measure, adding a mixture of nuts, chopped almonds, chocolate chips ... If you do, you just have to add a little extra banana to maintain the malleable consistency.
