THIS IS HOW LIVING IN VENEZUELA IS A PRODUCT OF THE FOOD CRISIS (+ IMAGES).
Happ Day Steemit! Today I want to talk a little about the food crisis that my country is going through Venezuela, crisis that the government tries to hide with campaigns like "It's the fault of the economic war against Venezuela" or worse, blaming foreign governments with phrases like "El Empire has a campaign to hide the products from the people".
The food crisis wreaks havoc on the health of Venezuelans, according to a survey made by researchers from the South American country. Most have reduced their size and go to bed hungry. 64.3% admit losing 11 kilos in weight in 2017. The food bags that the government sells at regulated prices only reach 12.6 million people, just over a third of the population.
Yucca and rice.
This is what the diet of most Venezuelans is based on. The precooked corn flour, the base ingredient of the arepa, the country's culinary emblem, has been displaced for the first time among the main foods that the citizens of our country seek to feed themselves.
The food crisis that Venezuela is going through has a dramatic expression in the size of them citizens and what they eat, according to the results corresponding to 2017 of the survey of the Living Conditions of the Venezuelan, reaaizada since 2014 by researchers of the three of the most important institutions in the country: The Central University of Venezuela ( UCV), Catholic Andres Bello and Simón Bolívar.
“People are developing strategies to survive, not to feed themselves. It is no longer possible to even substitute food. The fall in the consumption of corn flour, a food that by Venezuelan laws is enriched with iron and vitamins, is dramatic, as is that of vegetables and fruits, which provide micronutrients, "says Dr. Marianella Herrera, a member of the team of researchers.
This is based on the day by day of the Venezuelans in surviving the crisis not only food but economic, political and social that the country is living.

While the president of the republic, if you can call it that, boasts of food and drink with his government cabinet, but it consoles me to think that one day both the righteous and the evil God will judge, because everything happens today has its tomorrow I trust faithfully in God that Venezuela earlier that this crisis will end later and will be the country in which all Venezuelans want to live: Where we have freedom of expression, national production, supply in the Super Markets, security, future for young people; in general that there is quality of life that because of these criminals who govern today in the country we have lost.
Let's go Venezuela!
