It was a month long and when it ended about a month or so ago, I came in somewhere between 15 and 20, I forget my exact position The prize pool was 1000 Bitcrystals and I got 66 of them. It was split between about 500 players according to their final scores. I also got 3 or 4 blockchain cards. I think this was their 7th tournament. I was in the 6th one too and won 22 Bitcrystals in that one.
I kept playing the highest level I could consistently beat and used the gold to fuse my Brothers of the Night into the maxed out Swamp Spector. I maxed out my best fireball casters and now that combo clears levels quite easily up thru current Orc Boss.
I haven't seen the Raid feature on my map though... maybe I need more exp points. Update: found it at bottom of screen. LOL.
Sounds similar to my strategy. The Orc boss is a pain; I am losing it more than winning. I'm level 7 PVP at the moment, it's good to have another thing to level up and earn some gold.
