Like traditional exoteric religion, there are sects within the Gnostic tradition that teach some real nasty stuff. They should be rejected.
I'm not necessarily talking about or opposed to the non-dual schools; although it's not my view. I have many blogs on that separate issue and we should be able to distinguish wrong from outright insane.
Metaphysics that espouse sheer nastiness should be rejected and here I'm talking about a Tree Of Life Christ that will wipe out the goyim. Now there are some sects of exoteric Judaism that also have this belief and they should be rejected, too.
Christianity and Islam have their entirely toxic sects, also, so I'm universalizing here and not picking on any specific bad actors.
