The True Church

Often I get asked about the "True Church", and how we will know it if we see it. I tell them that each of us, individually, are micro churches. Let me clarify...

The tabernacle of the OT is a pattern Moses received. It was a pattern of the heavenly tabernacle.

Later, Solomon built a temple after the pattern of the wilderness tabernacle but built from various kinds of stones, or a more permanent structure, but still patterned after the one Moses built.

Finally, we get the final form of this tabernacle/temple in the NT when Yashua tells some folks, "destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up..." The people were confused and said that it took 40 some odd years to build and he will raise it up in three days? But he was talking about the temple of his body...

The body of Yashua is the same body you and I have. Flesh, blood, and bone. I do not for one believe that he was god made flesh. I believe that he was the "word" made flesh. (I will talk about this in another post.)

If Yashua was comparing his body to the temple/tabernacle, what does this tell us? It says that each of us have the pattern of the heavenly tabernacle that is able to hold the spirit of the Almighty.

Most folks say that a church is a building where people go to worship. This is a place where people with different talents or gifts congregate. This is true.

Just as each of us are small examples of this church. Different members that do different duties, but make the whole.

So, tabernacle/temple/church/human body, are the same thing. The only difference is the size. We are individual churches, and we can also be a part of a bigger congregation.

There are YouTube videos about how our body is the temple. I suggest you watch those to find out more...
