RE: Are we Energy or Simply Blobs of Body-Mass?
Great post Interesting story about the call from Things Remembered. :)
Even the name of the store that called you sounds like it is part of the message here. You are remembering things that you have forgotten about yourself like your higher existence. I too think these things are not coincidences and think that people come into our lives, the events that occur, all happen for a reason, we are just tuned out and trained to not pay attention to the synchronicities in our lives.
If you have ever heard the quote "You don't have a soul... you are a soul and you have a body". It is credited to C.S. Lewis but is contested because there are earlier references. Anyways, that statement is true. We are energy, vibration. If you really think about it, this physical manifestation that we call "real life" or "out there" only exists in our brains and is interacted with through our 5 (sometimes 6) senses. It is how our brains make sense of the energy and vibration information.
This is why there are plenty of accounts of this "reality" being shattered through meditation and through the use of entheogens for people to see how we really are one and the interconnectedness of things. Unfortunately for most of us, it is just through rampant ego that we view ourselves as "seperate", which gives rise to things like greed and selfishness. True compassion is the understanding that at a deep level, we are all one and having that understanding melts away things like hate, racism, political divisions, etc because those are false dichotomies that are being used to further keep us divided.
In your bio, it says you are in Pittsburgh, have you ever heard of Mark Passio? He is from Philly and is one of the most amazing teachers you will ever come across. He has a refreshing no bullshit style and teaches on Spirituality, Mind control and the Occult.
His presentations on Natural Law, and Cosmic Abandonment are amazing as well as his podcast (which he is approaching 200 episodes). His podcasts are meant to be listened to in a linear fashion so he recommends starting at Episode 1. I can't recommend him enough.
Thank you brother @dividebyzero for the comment. Ironically I hadn’t even thought of the name of the retail store“Things Remembered.” I was so caught up in the fact that what I asked to happen actually happened.
I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA but I lived near Philly for about 6 years, as well as Tampa, Florida for 8 years. I haven’t heard of Mark Passio but you better believe I’m checking into him right now.
I listen to a ton of podcasts while on the road so I’ll be adding your suggesting in my que.
I read your post about losing your father. That was powerful stuff. Seems like we may both have some things and ideas to gain from each other.
Being new I gotta get my steam power up. This bandwidth thing is killing me ;-)
I’ll certainly be posting more. I have lots to share about specific experiences I’ve had since beginning my “awakening.” I’m also hoping to share and discuss many more of these experiences with like minded (or even non-like minded individuals). I welcome everyone here to learn with me, ask questions, or be skeptical.
I think the dialogue is healthy and helpful for all...
Glad you’re hear with me for the ride ;-)

You are most welcome! I am a little west of Pittsburgh but still in Eastern Timezone. Seriously Mark Passio gave me a new lease on life. He is amazing. Some of his stuff is brutally hard to digest, but it will change you and awaken you for the better. I has to take breaks listening to his stuff for a week or so at a time because its harsh reality and i wanted to make sure i digested it properly.
I totally understand the resource credit thing. I struggled with that for a long time and had to buy Steem because I was not getting it fast enough to keep up with how much i wanted to post. I just wired you 25 Steem. Power up with it and it will give you more resource credits :) Keep posting great stuff!!! Let me know if you have any questions!
Thank you!!! That was a nice power boost! I can actually breath a little now 😉 didn’t know one could do that! You are very kind!
I actually reside in Ohio now. About an hourish west of Pittsburgh. Who knows...maybe we can grab a beer one day ;-)
Thank you for the help and guidance. I’ve been reading all I can on how steemit works but it’s a lot of catching up on. I think I’ve grasped the idea at this point through most of the “how to’s” and helpful hits.
I’m really here to develop a following and meet similar folks that are looking to advance spiritually. If I actually earn money here one day great (I’ll likely use it for good and try to help like-minded people).
I’ve been feeling a calling lately to at least share with those interested...hence why I landed here. Don’t want to do the whole Facebook thing. This feels like a good social media outlet for me as it runs and supports my beliefs on blockchain.
Thanks again!

Yeah man I would be down for that :) If you don't mind sharing a better approximation in Ohio? I have a feeling you are pretty darn close to me haha. Do the Bucks have the Eyes by chance?
Yeah you can send Steem to anyone as well as delegate your SP. You can also buy Steem by setting up a CoinBase account (or some other exchange) and buying bitcoin. Then you can use BlockTrades to send the bitcoin to your bitcoin deposit address and it will convert it into Steem automagically for you. It is probably the easiest way. I get to blocktrades by logging into steemit.com and going to blocktrades because then it automatically selects you and you can click get deposit address and send you bitcoin to that and you are done.
That is really cool. I hope to see you succeed in your mission here. There are plenty who need the wisdom and it is a good mission to have as I feel that is our greater purpose here as well.
I shied away from social media too for YEARS until I found Steem. I am glad I did, so many great people on here.
In case you didn't know there are multiple Steem UI's that you can use. I personally use steempeak.com but you can also use busy.org as well as many others. They have more functionality than steemit.com.
Happy posting :)
So I’m using Partiko right now as my main phone app to access Steemit. Seems to be working pretty well right now.
I’m near Youngstown. About 2.5 hours from Columbus. I travel a lot for work and am in Columbus pretty frequently. So yeah, if your around or we pass by we should grab a brew ;-)
I have Twitter mostly for crypto news but other than that this is really it. I’m hoping to make this my main spot for spiritual awaking type material. There what I’m really passionate about in life.
I’ve got Coinbase and Bittrex accounts. I’ll checkout blocktrades to make the conversation easiest.
Thanks again for all your help and kind words. Nice to meet someone like you so early here in the process.

For sure, that would be awesome! Partiko is pretty good too so glad you are on that.
You are welcome. I am just returning the favors that others bestowed upon me. I believe in paying it forward :)
