If it comes out to only DEC it will force a lot of people to hold DEC which I think benefits DEC. The challenge though is having a system in place to exchange steem, hive and other cryptos for DEC and credit. For now I would think steem-engine and hive-engine works well enough but have not seen coin credits on exchanges.
