Mindblast Battle Report : Defending the Ground
The Warrior of Peace is really a good defending monster and even not attack, he can effectively be useful in an intense battle. At its initial level, the Warrior of Peace has good speed to initiate its skill. He is equipped with some debuffing skills that could be an advantage on your side.
He has Demoralize skills that could reduce the melee attack of all your melee monsters. The more level it increases the more life points it will have and if you make it to Level 6, you will able to unlock its Headwinds skill which will now for ranged attacks, reducing them also.
And lastly, to make it more powerful, on its Level 10 it now has Silence skill which will now debuff for the magic attack. Since this monster is easy to acquire as it is a common card, I am sure you can easily make it to level up and if you do so you have a good asset monster when in terms of defending the ground at all cost.
Details
In this battle, there is only one battle modifier. Weak Magic is the active battle modifier which will hit first the armor then health. With this kind of modifier, the magic type monster will be weakened as they cannot directly hit to health points.
In this battle, my Warrior of Peace faces a more lethal and powerful Sacred Unicorn. It has a 3 melee attack which is kind of a pain for my Warrior of Peace but I am confident that he could sustain those damages. Aside from that his Sacred Unicorn has a healing spell and 7 life points which is kind of difficult to handle. But I am optimistic that my Warrior of Peace will able to survive it until the very end.
Next to that, he put his Furious Chicken on the second position and then it's Truth Speaker which could harden the armor of all his monsters. With this, it's very hard to damage his monsters due to these bonus armors given by TruthSpeaker.
At the back, we can see three range type monsters that will keep on targeting my monsters without any problem. What I am worried about is his Silvershield Archers which will target efficiently my monsters especially those who are weak.
My Line Up
I put the Warrior of Peace in the first position in order to defend the ground at all costs. With its skills and enough life points, I am sure that he is just suitable monster to put the position. He will surely defend and protect and has already proven in many battles.
Baby Unicorn can help boosts the life points of all my monsters and putting him in the second position which makes him sustainable even if it cannot attack. My Baby Unicorn on its Level 5 so I am confident that it could initiate an attack immediately if in case it will go into the frontline.
I put Feral Spirit in the third position as I know that he could perform very well on that position, securing himself while doing his Sneak attack targeting those at the back. It has 5 speeds which helps him initiate an attack in a much faster way.
In fourth position, I put up Creeping Ooze as I want him to be secure while performing the task that I really need him to perform and that is slowing down the enemies so I will have the advantage of attacking first.
In the fifth position, I put up Truth Speaker as it help provides additional armor to my monsters. Since it has no attack then putting him in the fifth position is the best place it should be.
In the last position, I put my healer so it could help any monster that needs help. And at the same time, Divine Healer can also attack in magic but the problem is that its magic attack is not that effectly since magic attacks need to hit armor first before getting into health points.
The Battle
At the start of Round 1, both of our Splinterlands Summoners perform their corresponding task. My summoner added armors to my monsters while my enemy added life to its monsters. Both of our Truth Speakers added additional armor as well, making them thicker and hard to damage.
My Baby Unicorn increases health to all my monsters while my Creeping Ooze decreases all existing speed of my enemy monster. And lastly, my Warrior of Peace decreases all melee attacks which only affects his Sacred Unicorn only.
There had been so intense battle, my Feral Spirit little by little attacks his Evangelist while his Silvershield targeting my Creeping Ooze which resulted to my Creeze Ooze eliminated. Both of our frontlines still standing and making their stance in the heat of the battlefield.
At Round 8, I was able to eliminate its Evangelist and in Round 11 my Feral Spirit takes the chance to eliminate his Silvershield Archers which keeps targetting my monster.
The battle reaches to its peak where fatigue takes effect, killing those surviving monsters. Since I have the advantage in terms of armor, my monsters able to survive while his Sacred Unicorn left standing but since it was overwhelmed by attack it resulted in its demise.
My Analysis
My Warrior of Peace did his worth defending the ground while protecting my monsters at the back. Aside from that Demoralize skill, keeps his Sacred Unicorn to perform better in this battle in which it has had a hard time against my Warrior of Peace.
My Feral Spirit is the key to my win as it help eliminates enemy monsters the best that he could.
