Mindblast Battle Report : Scream to Death
Fallen Spectre is really a good useful monster that may be used as a debuff against its enemy. Even if its damage really that low, the best thing for it is that it possessed a more fast speed that helped it initiate the first move that might eliminate the enemy first.
On its enemy level, we cannot rely much of it as it has no active debuff skills. The only skill that is unlocked is its flying ability which also useful. I manage to upgrade to level 2 which is much easier as you need only 3 cards of this since it is legendary but the costing might be that high. You can unlock another debuff that is very effective against melee type monsters.
The next level will be against ranged attacks while if maximize it has Blind skill that can be really dangerous to your opponents. Fallen Spectre is a good addition to your group as it has a lot of debuffs still, and if you have enough money to spare, getting it in the market can be a good option for you.
In this battle, both of us use Death Splinter wherein we are almost the same monsters used but differ on the melee and range type monsters. The active battle modifier is Equalizer in which gives the low health monsters to have a chance to make balance their health points against all other monsters.
And another modifier is Little League which permits only those monsters that are 4 mana cost or less can be selected in this battle. Mana cap is not that high so I think there would be a balance on the modifier and the total mana cap.
In our frontline, I use Animated Corpse taking a guess if I will use a magic type monster which I really got it. With the skill of Void, I am sure that no damage will be taken to my Animated Corpse as he uses two magic attack type monsters with 1 damage. So survival in the frontline would be very strong for my Animated Corpse.
In its second position, we can see that he uses Creeping Ozze the same as mine but he got the advantage as it has more level than mine. So its Creeping Ooze can attack which is great Next to that, both of us have the same Undead Priest and then the Fallen Spectre that I really love to use.
I first position I use Curse Slimeball and then Furious Chicken in the last position. I don't know if this position is good or not but I am optimistic that I can do it.
My Line Up
First, I will introduce Fallen Spectre as this monster can be a game-changer. Currently, this monster is still at level 2 so only two of its skill is usable, one of flying and the other one is Demoralize.
On my frontline, I put up Animated Zombie as it has the potential to defend the frontline as it has a good average of a melee attack, health points are zero, and most of all its Void Skill.
Putting Furious chicken at the second position is the best thing to do I think as my remaining monsters are not that big in life points. So what I am relying right now on is that delaying the enemy at the moment, then enough time for my monsters to attack enemies while they can.
Cursed Slimeball would be a good addition also even though it has not had enough damage to perform but its survival is very much better which I consider being positioned at third.
Undead Priest is also a good addition to the group as it will help decrease the life of the enemies. Since this is a battle of low-cost monsters, their life points is not that high, so taking advantage of one health point could be vital in victory. So adding him to the line up might be a good idea.
In my last option, I secure my Creeping Ooze to maximize its Slow ability in order to keep my advantage against my enemy.
The Battle
At the start of Round 1, my Animated Corpse got debuff by enemy summoner, resulting in 1 melee attack remaining. Both our Undead Priest decrease the life points of our monsters while both of our Fallen Spectre try to lower their melee attack as well but it seems useless as there are no melee attacks more than 1. And lastly, both our Creeping Ooze decrease our attack speed.
My Animated Corpse was damaged totally by the enemy's ranged and melee attack. Receiving attacks from magic type monsters is quite entertaining as all of them are 0 damage due to my monster's Void skill.
At Round 2, my Creeping Ooze slow got damaged by Undead Badger while my Animated Zombie continued to suffer attacks but still having for survival. Thankfully, I manage to finish off his Furious Chicken which is a big blocking path for me.
Before the end of Round 3, my Animated Corpse was eliminated which replaces my frontline with Furious Chicken. My Furious Chicken manages to eliminate his Creeping Ooze. My Fallen Spectre just takes it a chance to continue targeting enemies one by one. At Round 12, my Fallen Spectre manages to make it in the frontline. Thankfully attacks coming from Undead Badger was a dodge.
It was a long battle but thankfully I manage to win it. Thanks to my fallen Spectre who continue to amaze me.
My Analysis
In this battle, Fallen Spectre plays a big rule as it continues to take some dodges against the enemy while slowing targeting it with its magic ability. What really helps a lot to get ahead towards the enemy is that Fallen Spectre is the one much faster, attacker than all other monsters in the battlefield.
What I'm worried about is my counterpart, but thankfully I manage to eliminate it first, securing my win in this battle.
