Mindblast Battle Report : The Child on Guard
I have not use much of the Child of the Forest monster but since I'm in for a challenge I try to blend it up with the best that I could to create a better team that could possibly counter my enemy monsters. I have checked that the Child of the Forest has a Snipe ability which can be good against Range, Magic and No attack enemy monsters.
It has 5 attack speed which makes him really fast to attack and if you manage to level it up then you may able to unlock its anti-flying skill which is Snare which would disables the flying ability of that enemy flying monster and the best thing is that it can never missed, making it a sure hit to that monster.
And if ever you make him to maxed up its level then you will have 3 ranged attack, a steady 5 attack speed and lastly its life points will become 6 which is a good defensive marked for this monster. Since it is an Untamed monster, the circulation is still on-going and you can possibly get more of this monster if you buy more booster pack.
Details
In our battle details, all the monsters that participated the battle will have additional armors making all of them solid. And if ever a monster will have a built-in armor it will obtain additional 2 of it making it more thicker and hard to damage but if you have magic type monster surely you will able to suppress monsters easily as you will able to hit it directly to its health.
I use Flesh Golem as I can see that it has healing abilities and has a sustainable life points. And aside from that it has 2 melee attack which can help damage the enemy and a standard 3 attack speed. But the problem here is that my enemy uses Goblin Mech which is way much stronger than my frontline.
Now on my second position, I put my magic attack type monster with healing abilities to help Flesh Golem if ever it won't able to heal enough. While on my enemy second position, he put his Spineback Wolf which would still attack even at second position due to its reach ability.
On third position, there is my Goblin Sorcerer, taking in charge on the monsters that are in last position with its magic attack. On enemy side, his third position is Boogeyman which will surely slowdown all my monsters.
In my fourth position there goes my Child of the Forest that has Snipe ability which will target those monsters that are in range, magic or no attack. It is still at its initial level so I cannot rely much of my Child of the Forest.
And then on my last two position are all ranged type monsters in which I really put more trust on ranged monster. I might be mistaking but it is worth the risk.
As for my enemy, he really put a good balance , a two magic type monster and a two range type monster.
My Line Up
The main guy of this battle since he is here for the challenge. Let's see what he can do with its enemy where I put him at fourth position where he can so his Sniping ability. Let's jut hope that he could help his allies put down as many enemies in order to win this battle.
I put my Flesh Golem at first position as I know how strong he can be when it comes to defending the frontline. With its high health points and healing ability, I think he could manage to sustain damages dealt by his enemies.
I put Wood Nymp in the second position in which I put her in charge of backup healing towards my frontline just in case my Flesh Golem will not able to get over with its healing abilities. Aside from that its magic damage is one good addition.
In my third position there is Goblin Sorcerer in charge of additional magic damage towards my enemy monsters. With its Sneak ability, I think it could help targeting those weaker ones.
I put my Spirit of the Forest at the fifth position as its range attack could benefit me since it has attack speed of 6, giving her more chances to attack fist even if being slowed down.
And lastly, Halfling Alchemist in charge of suppressing the attack of enemy monsters.
The Battle
At the start of battle, my Earth Summoner boosts the life of all my monsters while on enemy side, adds additional attack to all his melee. The problem with it is that his Goblin Mech has now 6 attack damage which is quite difficult for my Flash Golem to stand up against it.
While Spineback Wolf has now 3 attack damage which is kind of a painful now. Enemy Boogeyman deducts the speed of all my monsters which gives me low opportunity to strike first.
My Flesh Golem sustain a very heavy damage even the heal of both his own and Wood Nymph almost didn't catch up. The Goblin Mech attack of Goblin Mech is very hard as it takes most of the health points of my Flesh Golem.
At round 2, my Flesh Golem got badly hit by Prismatic Enemy which resulted to its elimination in battlefield. And after I have no more remaining melee monster that could help defend the ground which resulted to my defeat killing fist my magic monsters and then my ranged monsters.
I only get to eliminate Boogeyman out of his line up.
My Analysis
The defeat of my Flesh Golem in the frontline is the big crash to my line up. My other monsters are not built to sustain damages instead they are the ones that are good in terms of offensive. Aside from that the level gap of my monsters and my enemy monsters is a bit plus.
So winning the battle is really thin.
