UFC 325

So today my mate and I made the pilgrimage from Brisbane to Sydney to watch Australia's famous YouTube chef defend the welterweight strap!

That's right we got to witness live Bruce buffer and an Australian UFC icon and all round super rad guy Alexander " the great" Volkanofski!!

Now this was a big day. Woke up at 3am to get a uber to the airport for a 5am flight.

Got a taxi straight from Sydney airport to QUDOS BANK ARENA.

And made it just in time for the first fight.

Now going to a live UFC event has been a bucket list for years and finally the stars aligned and I made it to UFC 325!
It was so cool to see how the event is run in real life. All the camera men running around.
DC, Bisping and anik getting ready for the live broadcast.

This was such an awesome experience. Even though our seats were in the noose bleeds the atmosphere was electric! The crowd cheering every fighter. The oohhs when a big hug lands and the constant chant Aussie Aussie Aussie....Oi Oi Oi

As I sit here at Sydney airport as our flight home is delayed until 10:30pm it's been a very long day haha.

But it was full of memories I will never forget?

Tai vs Teixeira was a high light of the event as the crowd was going absolutely crazy! But this fight was a very bad look at the state the heavyweight division is in at the moment.

Another solid mention was dan hooker vs Benoit
Saint-Denis.
BSD feed so many brutal elbows to the face of hooker who just ate them up. But BSD got the TKO in round 2.

Then it was time for the main event....
Diego Lopes VS Alexander Volkanovski 2
The crowed erupted as on Aussie favourite song down under started playing and our home town hero made his walk out.

Volk put on an absolute master class and took the win by unanimous decision

AND STILL !!!
