While prepping for the legendary Indianapolis 500, things took a sudden, bumpy turn for driver Alexander Rossi. During a high-speed practice session, Rossi had a pretty massive crash that definitely had everyone in the stands holding their breath!
The good news? Rossi is going to be okay! He did walk away with some minor injuries—specifically a bit of a ding to his finger and some trouble with his ankle. It sounds scary, but thankfully, it's nothing that's expected to keep him down for long.
It’s just a huge reminder of how crazy fast these machines go and the guts it takes to drive them. We’re all rooting for Rossi to heal up quickly so he can get back behind the wheel and show us what he's got!
