He/ She spent a sizeable amount of money to make it appear that he/ she has made money. The "author" might make a little profit but it won't be much.
So no, there's no jealousy here. Just frustration that something that is quite likely just copied from Wikipedia has been pumped to the trending page via purchased votes.
