One of my favourate wrestlers as a child. His pro Russian Gimmic would get Amerians Riled up like no other. 🤣 singing the Russian National Anthem efore the match.
He was a Yugoslav-Canadian who emigrated from vienna in 1968. He trained in Harts Dungeon in Calgary.
Tuff as nails and one of the original WWF members. His first WWF match was in 1968 and last match in 1995. He passed away in a Maryland hospital this morning. You will be missed.
Yeah this dude was a legend! I remember him well from the 80's Remember when Hulk Hogan and Him had a flag off..It was epic!
Ya I 100% remember that It was the year i started watching WWF. I was like 5 i think. My neighbour had cable and would tape it on VHS and lend me the tapes. My friend Dave and I would watch every week. That match was the birth of Hulkamania yeah baby.
