Denver has BIG plans for Mile High Stadium! 3-Time World Champs about to level up.
Mile High Stadium, home of my Denver Broncos is about to go under a $350 Million face lift around its exterior. This is something that has been in the works for 5 years or so and is now entering the final planning stages to bring this Colorado landmark into the future.

The area around the stadium is actually known as the City of Denver which really is not that big of a place as far as territory goes. The plan is to remove all the parking lots on the south end of the stadium and build a value added fan experience in the form of shops, bars, restaurants and high end living. The plan would essentially extend from about the 50 yard line all the way back past the Colfax Bridge and up to the popular bar and grill known as Brooklyn's.

This type of stadium project is currently being used in other cities, not only to give fans an added all day experience on game day but to also get more use out of the prime acreage and real estate the stadium currently sits on during the off season. This area of planned construction is not really that desirable right now and this 5-10 year project would definitely bring the whole Denver experience into a nice little package for not only football fans but our heavy tourist visitors as well. Hanging out in a bar on game day provides more revenue for business but it also provides a nice tie in to our area attractions like, Coors Field, Pepsi Center, Six Flags and the Denver Aquarium The tax payer financed stadium will surely need to get this money from somewhere and most likely it will be funded by taxpayers once again. The few renderings of this project sure look nice but the cost burden to tax payers is bound to get heavy again if this project gets approved.

The City of Denver is an awesome place to visit unless your a K.C. Chiefs Fan in my opinion. A project like this would not only put our City in the serious running for hosting a Super Bowl someday but it will definitely be a great game day experience for years to come. My vote is YES!
Hope it's approved, that would be a great addition to the area. I think it would add more value than the initial expense.
That is awesome. Maybe someday the suns will do that!
Awesome! I like the idea of a bar and fan fun area. That's where the party is at!
Too bad they wouldn't entertain an advertisement from one of your stores for a real "mile high" experience. A broncnutz/papa john's team...win/win.
It is a laudable project apart from the cool stadium upgrade once the upgrade is completed,it's going to provide massive business and employment opportunities as well a boost to the economy so it's a good investment on tax payer's money.
See if you could get the club to take crypto for season ticket payments.
