RE: How can athletes use these social media platforms to grow brands? Comment below!

Quite remarkably the steemit platform brings you (the athlete) international branding that traditional American sports are dying for. You do have a nice base where you are from but what floors me here is the amount of international that is brought here. I never had visited online with someone from Venezuela, and after being on the platform have chatted/blogged with 10 or more people from the country, talking about things ranging from sports, politics, you name it really. So yes there is much value on this platform as you hitting a lot of hot buttons for millennial attention: a platform that is built on status like a video game, international instant commentary/input/advice, as well as a program that is very tech minded, driven heavily on the changes of literally today, this week going on in all walks of life. I think this platform is just waiting to explode just a matter of more people finding out about it, which will definitely happen with time. Best of luck in your athletic pursuits, I was a baseball player that took the development of that skill very seriously and continue to follow the game with the fervor I still continue to play it with.

Interesting :)

On instagram our followers both on my paddling team and my personal account have a wide range of international followers as well. We have paddlers from SUP and va'a as well as outrigger canoe teams from around the world following us. I don't see many paddlers on this platform or Panamanians but I am sure, like you have said, that this will grow and I will see them here. Saludos desde Panama! :)
