RE: Rays vs Sox live
@achoplin89 I appreciate it. So many people find watching baseball taxing, saying it's boring and nothing happens. The art of the game is lost on them, I suppose. Pitches called by the catcher, the cat 'n' mouse game pitchers will play with baserunners...heck even daring to throw a 4 seam fastball down the middle even though the hitter knows it is coming is so much fun to watch. I caught a yankeee game once as well ijln the new stadium. Seeing all the rubble where the old stadium was right across the street kind of blew my mind. In that rubble is where yankees legends wrote their stories on the diamond. Thanks for the comment!
100% agreed! Baseball truly is a beautiful game that is seemingly being lost on our society. The level of perfection required from the moment a pitch leaves a pitcher’s hand is unmatched. To throw a ball 95+ MPH; to hit that same ball 430+ feet; to react to a ball leaving the bat at 95+ MPH in roughly 1.2 seconds only to field the ball and throw it across the diamond in roughly 1 second. It is all remarkable. You almost NEED TO experience it live to understand the skill set required to perfect such a game.
