Sporting vs Atlético Del Madrid! Nice game
Let's move on to another of the games that were played today in the Europa League. Sporting vs Atlético, for me I will continue saying that Atlético is the favorite team to win this Europa League, I feel that it is the most complete team among the teams that participated in this competition, even in the fight for the league (already practically sentenced but they have a second place in the standings).
In the first game played at the Vicente Calderón, the home team managed to win 2-0 with goals from Koke and Griezmann, now it's up to Atlético to visit Sporting in Portugal to see if the locals can give any surprise.
A very dominated first half on the part of the locals, really all the actions were shots with the head estimated that before the goal there were 4 or 5 actions of this type and it will be in minute 28 that with a center sent from the band right, where Oblak rubs it minimally and fails to deflect the trajectory of the ball that Freddy Montero was waiting to finish off with the head and give the 1 to 0.
Inexistent the Athletic one that by more than it tried some offensive action they were not able to define any of the plays, and to emphasize the facility of the Sporting in the aerial game to arrive at the goal of Oblak.
For the second time the visiting team would have a greater participation, in fact the clearest they had of the game, were 2 Griezmann's hand to hand against the goalkeeper, who in the first defines very badly shooting at burning clothing against the goalkeeper and the second barely and escapes by the first stick.
Much merit of the Sporting that never gave up, but I think that the figure of the party was Oblak who really allowed this did not come to extension or who knows worse could perhaps beat before that.
Pasemos a otro de los juegos que se disputaron hoy en la Europa League. El Sporting vs Atlético, para mí seguiré diciendo que el Atlético es el equipo favorito a ganar esta Europa League, siento que es el equipo más completo entre los equipos que participaron en esta competición, aún en la lucha por la liga (ya prácticamente sentenciada pero tienen asegurado un segundo lugar en la tabla de posiciones).
En el juego de ida que se realizó en el Vicente Calderón, el equipo de casa logró ganar 2 a 0 con goles de Koke y Griezmann, ahora le toca al Atlético visitar al Sporting en Portugal a ver si de locales pueden dar alguna sorpresa.
Un primer tiempo muy dominado de parte de los locales, realmente todas las acciones fueron remates con la cabeza estimo que antes del gol existieron 4 o 5 acciones de este tipo y va a ser en el minuto 28 que que con un centro mandado desde la banda derecha, donde Oblak la roza mínimamente y no logra desviar la trayectoria del balón que estaba esperando Freddy Montero para rematar con la cabeza y dar el 1 a 0.
Inexistente el Atlético que por más que intentaba alguna acción ofensiva no lograban definir ninguna de las jugadas, y destacar la facilidad del Sporting en el juego aéreo para llegar a la portería de Oblak.
Para el segundo tiempo el equipo visitante tendría una mayor participación, de hecho las más claras que tuvieron del partido, fueron 2 mano a mano de Griezmann contra el portero, que en la primera define muy mal disparando a quema ropa contra el arquero y la segundo apenas y se escapa por el primer palo.
Mucho mérito del Sporting que nunca se dio por vencido, pero pienso que la figura del partido fue Oblak quien realmente permitió que esto no llegara a prórroga o quien sabe peor aún quizás podían vencer antes de eso.
