Tottenham striker Harry Kane was player of the month for December to equal ex-Liverpool midfielder Steven Gerrard's record of winning the award six times. Kane, 24, struck eight goals - including two hat-tricks - during December.His Spurs side produced four wins, a draw and a single defeat to Guardiola's City, who remain unbeaten in the Premier League and sit 15 points clear at the top.

Manager of The Month
Pep Guardiola has been named the Barclays Premier League Manager of the Month for December. It is the first time in the history of the monthly award that a manager has won it four successive times. Pep also landed the honour in September, October and November as his unbeaten side continue to receive praise from all corners. Congratulations to Pep and his backroom staff on yet another award.
They deserve it. Kane is a machine gun. Guardiola is a wizard.
