From UEFA Europa League Quarter-Finals to 4th Division derby - CSA Steaua Bucuresti - Rapid

In this video you will see the journey and atmosphere before one of the oldest derbies in the Romania Football Championship, between CSA Steaua Bucuresti and Academia Rapid, which took place in the spring of 2018.

I will show you how the ultras supporters march to the stadium, as well as the beginning choreography.

Both teams clashed in the 2006 UEFA Europa League Quarter-Finals stage, where they ended in a draw both legs, Steaua qualifying due to away goal.

Time took it's toll on both teams, having to spin-off due to politics, paperworks or financial instability, and this was the first clash in many years, even if it was in the 4th Division.
Supports were very excited for this derby day, as Rapid doesn't have a 1st Division team to compete against FCSB (formal FC Steaua Bucuresti), and this was an opportunity for both fans to display their ongoing rivalry.
