Can Ovechkin do it?

The Washington Capitols are 2 wins away from becoming Stanley cup champions. After a well played 3-1 win at home the caps are now up 2-1 in the series. As great as the Vegas story would be this would be better. For his entire career Ovechkin has been one of the best. The only thing he didn’t have was a Stanley cup. When you’re in the same division as Sidney Crosby who has won 3 cups, you might not get the “best in the game title.” Ovechkin is amazing with 607 career goals and another 60 in his playoff career. He also has never lead the stacked Russian Olympic team to a gold medal. For this to finally be his first real championship you can only imagine how much winning would mean to him.
