Hmmm as far as I remember from Nile's vlogs, there was a young boy who was training that "spinning" movement on his hands on this thing. So I'd say it's a warmup apparatus before you go on the pommer horse?
Dunno haha, hopefully it's not a full gymnastics discipline and I look stupid now :D

The " gymnastic mushroom " is mainly used to prepare for the pommel horse. Elements such as the circle flanks are first practiced here and when they work on the mushroom, you go to the pommel horse.
The bucket in the picture is also an exercise aid: You put your feet in and have an additional support to get the movement in.
Additional fact: Children in competitive sports also have the gym mushroom as an additional competition device in their competitions.
I know what it is, and what you use it for, but perhaps I have an unfair advantage...... so I won't say what it is and give others a chance to respond.
