What's interesting about the postseason is that the game doesn't run like it did in the regular season. This was the case in the Nationals Park in Washington, D.C.when the first game of the 2019 Major League PS was held against the Milwaukee Brewers. Washington, which boasts a strong starting lineup, was dragged to the drawing board, but advanced to the Division Series by winning a 4-3 dramatic comeback victory over Milwaukee, which boasted an iron-wall bullpen.

Washington was dragged 1-3 into the eighth inning, collapsing with three runs in five innings, along with two home runs, with ace Max Scherzer getting a two-run hit by Yasmani Grandal in the first inning and giving up a solo shot to Eric Thames, a former KBO league player. Washington, at least, was able to put another ace starter, Stephen Strasberg, on the mound after Scherzer, to fend off extra runs.

Washington's Juan Soto cheers after he won the MLB National League wild card game against Milwaukee. Milwaukee then tried to drive a wedge in the victory by putting Josh hader, the finishing pitcher of the final with 37 saves this year, on the mound from the eighth inning. However, Hader has become an assistant to a Washington hero named Juan Soto. Hader was loaded with two outs amid the roughing of the plate, and Soto who was at bat, hit a timely hit to right. Milwaukee rookie right-hander Trent Grisham added a decisive error that left the ball behind, with all runners home, turning the tide at 4-3. It was heartbreaking to see the error coming from Christian Yelich's post, who was removed from the lineup due to injury. In the end, Milwaukee shook his head, failing to score in the final attack in the ninth.

Hyun-jin ryu of the Los Angeles Dodgers, will face the NLDS in Washington. Ryu is likely to take the mound in one of the first and second games at home.
