And trust me when its down to two something happens that surprises everyone and either the game goes wide open or we get a winner in the blink of an eye.
So wait, you are basically saying ABH can just chill and lay low while we keep dumping SPORT into the prize pool? Who knows the game might last for a whole eternity and millions of SPORT gets dumped into the prize pool. And you're telling me he has more chance of winning than all of us who were active, thinking how to strategize on using our weapons and spent a decent amount of tokens and time on this game? Based on the fact that he has a Balloon Factory and always gets 2 balloons when a new day starts no matter what? Even if we all aim our weapons at him each and every day he's still in the game the next day until there are only two players left or 10 balloons (which obv won't happen anytime soon), more chance that only two players stay in the game. It's like giving someone a FREE ticket to the finals, what I see that being.
If that's the case I don't support this weapon even being in the game because it makes no sense and gives a huge edge to 1 player. My two-cent.
Not to mention you gave the ultimate weapon to a player who was clearly out of the game when all of his balloons popped 3-4 days ago. Abh even commented on being out of the game before you even posted this update in the comments of your post and gave him the Balloon Factory.

That means "I was so done with this game, but you're trying to milk some more SPORT out of me by giving me this weapon. Okay, pal, one more go..." when I read between the lines. Do you agree? You basically forced him to stay in the game, not allowing him to "be done". Or am I missing something?

I am not attacking you but I don't know if you thought this game through enough before starting it or are you just slightly biased in some cases. There were slips and mistakes made on your part such as yesterday with gremlins, if I wouldn't notice it the game would take a different turn. But I don't have time to review every freaking move someone makes in this game. I might have to tho.

@patrickulrich gets a weapon and now has power in the game when in fact only two of us actually play the game at the moment. with @haseez being out holding no balloons, @abh123sports didn't say or do anything for the last 3 days, only his Factory keeping him around. @curator-plants and I are the only two actually playing and buying balloons IMO and I see now someone bought 2 balloons and the winner of the giveaway will join us. It's becoming weirder, fewer and fewer players but feels like it will go on forever.
Again this is not an attack nor anything in that fashion, just saying I'm getting frustrated by this type of stuff as a player of not just this game but any game where I feel there are uncertainties.
Nothing too personal okay mate, you're doing great community work with this contest by burning and adding your own rewards into the pool and I appreciate that but I feel like it needs a few fixes.
I don't feel attacked at all. You have some valid points and things i would like to clarify and should, others may feel the same way.
With the factory, i can see what you mean about crusing to the finals with it. I need to rebalance so thats not the case valid point.
In terms of "milking" him abd being biased for abh winning the factory. He was in that block and was randomly selected from the dice i rolled. And no one is ever out because whenever i closed off people from joining contests and games people who never followed me or joined the platform after felt jilted they had to wait to join much later (in past cases i do not believe this one will last even a few days)
Its hard in game development to see how stuff curves and scales out. Magic the gathering plans sets and cards years ahead and still makes mistakes and finds cards they have to ban from competitive play. I do not compare myself to Wizards of the Coast but it can be difficult to see how things play out.
You made a remark about how players are idle and still have a chance to win. Thats a good point thats unfair to you. It would be hard to implement hard changes but i can see what i can do about limiting players joining and rejoining after x days so those who are active can win it.
I do appreciate the honesty and blutness. You didnt do it out of anger but concern and i respect that.

I'd basically given up after being wiped a few days ago, and didn't realise I would be born again each day with a couple of balloons.
It is tricky to run stuff like this, I've hosted a fair amount of contests and it's stressful stuff.
@swolesome, I understand doing this stuff takes time and can be a chore and so I appreciate the effort. I wonder if a simpler approach is taken next time where the rules/stuff that can happen is there from the start as to make people aware of what can/can't happen.

I was not pointing fingers at anyone, and as you I hosted a ton of contests in my years on Steemit. Its stressful indeed and the person hosting it really needs to think of every little detail before going live so to speak. This balloon game in particular has a lot of potential because its fun and demands some strategy making from the players but as I said before it needs fixes.
Yes, keeping it simple is sometimes the best way to go. I hope to see it and I won't mind playing this game each and every day. Screw PS4 and crosswords:)
