And to think that not long ago Neymar wanted to leave and even the mayor of Paris was disappointed by reminding Neymar that he was treated as royalty now a sculpture has his name.
Neymar, despite his shortcomings, is a football royalty who has put France in the limelight. The honour is not out of place.
