🌻Spring in Oslo🌻

Living in North people longing for sunshine and warm days. Last weekend we have had 18 degree above zero up in Scotland and it was like summer, people were outside enjoying ice like children, wearing T-shorts and shorts. I love that time and I try to encourage myself that it is not so bad like in south of Europe.

Looking at your photographs I see similiarity with our nature the trees just have their sap green leaves and of course first cold resistant flowers such as daffodils and dandelion. It is like the nature giving us those flowers as a replacement for sun, little "suns" on the ground.

Beautiful old building on your last photo, Camilla with a sandstone wall and a tall tree, must be all green in summer. I wish you a nice weekend :)

Thank you for the great comment :) We have not had 18 degrees yet here in Norway, but it is not to far away now :) I always wanted to visit Scotland, the nature do look similar to Norway.

Haha people and children are also wearing T shirs and shorts over here, but so many are getting sick now. We always overestimate how warm it is :D

That old brick building is part of one of the finest neighbourhoods in Oslo called Ullevål Hageby

How nice, it is a great feeling indeed. Spring is finally hitting here in Michigan. Lots of flowers blooming.

We bought a new (1964) house and it’s got tons of flowers popping up all around it. Still waiting for many of them to bloom. A big magnolia tree in the front as well, just starting to bud.

Have fun and enjoy the nice weather!

So great! Your photos are filled with spring mood! Daffodils and dandelions, faithful companions of spring days. Dandelion is one of my favorite flowers. It's actually considered a weed, but I just love its simplicity, its joyful look, and its magical white balls. It's not so warm in my area yet. But left quite a bit to hot days and until the moment when the dandelion appears. For me it is a symbol of the beginning of summer, a symbol of the upcoming joy. In General, the anticipation of something joyful is a tremendous feeling. Sometimes it is more desirable than the event itself. Look forward and smile...

Thank you for the great comment :) I also think dandelions are beautiful and magical flowers. Yes, the anticipation of spring and sunny days does give us a good mood and lots of energy :D

I love the photos. White/yellow flower was my favorite until I noticed the flying white bird on the fourth photo, great catch! 😊

BTW, I'm currently writing my first business plan for Oslo - you might get a highly convenient personal courier/delivery service company there soon. : )
