PSG will not release Edinson Cavani

PSG coach, Thomas Tuchel, stated that Edinson Cavani is still a mainstay in the club's front line. It makes Tuchel not willing to release Cavani in the summer transfer market in 2018.

Cavani had reportedly headed for the PSG exit. Real Madrid and Napoli are referred to as club enthusiasts.

However, the news was denied by Tuchel.

"Edinson Cavani is a key player in PSG, I will make sure he stays at this club," Tuchel said.

"After all, nobody ever told me that the club will release Cavani, he will stay with PSG next season."

"I have spoken to Cavani, he has no thought of leaving PSG," Tuchel said.

Thomas Tuchel will undergo the inaugural season with PSG. The German coach replaced Unai Emery who dismissed PSG management.
