Everyone expected the English Premier League leaders to bounce back from the defeat against Manchester City but it didn't go as expected against Wolves.
Liverpool defeated Wolves some weeks back in the English Premier League , the match ended 2-0 with Liverpool getting all three points but the FA clash didn't end well for Liverpool.
Liverpool suffered another defeat, Jurgen Klopp boys failed to advance to the next round of the competition.
Liverpool are now out of the English domestic Cups competition, they are left with English Premier League and the UEFA Champions League. The defeat was a shock due to the super class style of football played by Liverpool FC.
Several fans have admitted is good to concentrate on one than losing all, so Liverpool crashing out doesn't seem to be a problem.
Wolves striker Jimenez opened the score line for the match, putting Wolves ahead with a fantastic finish in the 38th minute.
Origi gave Liverpool a crucial equalizer in the 51st minute of the match to make it 1-1. The match seem to be balanced just like how it started. Both sides played a high class defensive game but Liverpool failed in the 55th minute of the match. Reuben Neves gave Wolves the lead again and the goal sealed Wolves victory for the rest of the match.
Fortunately for Wolves, they are in the next round of the tournament. Liverpool can concentrate only on the English Premier League and the UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE.
