Dangerous drinking syrup
One of the beverages that is often served for the guests during Hari Raya Lebaran is syrup. This drink is easy to make and has a sweet taste so it is considered worthy to be served for the visiting guests.
Considering we can find this drink in almost every place that we go when doing a relationship, it's good we refrain not to eat too much.
As we know, a sweet drink is not a drink that is good for health. If we often consume it in large quantities, including during Lebaran or when breaking the fast before, then we will experience an increased risk of dangerous diseases such as type 2 diabetes, heart disease, to gout.
Type 2 diabetes is one of the many diseases that attack the people of the country who are not able to keep his lifestyle stay healthy. Not only deadly, this disease can trigger other dangerous complications such as heart attack, impotence, blindness, to amputation in the lower body.
In a study, it is known that women who regularly consume one glass or more sweet drinks will increase the risk of diabetes until doubled. Meanwhile, children who like to eat sugary drinks like syrup will also increase the risk of obesity up to 60 percent and cavities up to two-fold.
Instead of consuming syrup, health experts recommend us to consume water that is much better for health. Usually, we can also easily find bottled water in places where we visit or request water only when the host offers a drink.
