@bien.- Brain cells have a high rate of metabolism, so the brain requires much more oxygen, relatively, than any other organ of the body. The common advice when stressed is to take a deep breath; to supply the brain with sufficient oxygen. A lack oxygen means loss of mental balance, concentration, and control of the emotions.
