In the early days you needed something like 1000SP to give a cent with a vote. At least the minnows have some impact now.

agree, i get 1 cent upvote and i only have 450 sp, and i think my vote value will increase if steem price raise...
lol, hopefully i'll be close to getting 69 reputation within the next year or so.
It's taken me most of a year to get here. Taking almost as long to get to 70
i must admit I got to 41 within about 1 and a week and a half. 42 been here about 2 months now.
Each extra step is harder. It shows how active you have been here

Go for quality over quantity when you can. It's the big votes that help your reputation go up
