Try writing in more platforms than Steemit. For example Uptrennd is a good one, the address to go to is: https://www.uptrennd.com/. They do have a referral program but I don't use that link. Maybe you are already there, but I do think getting money from several platforms is better than just using one. I use both Steemit and Uptrennd and am doing OK on both.
