Shopping Experience at Madar Market, Vadodara
Assalam-O-Alikum friends,
Yesterday was a little different day for me because I went out for shopping with my husband. After many days of doing regular house work and routine life, it felt nice to go outside and spend some time together. We decided to visit Madar Market because it is known for budget shopping and also for good bargaining. I was little excited because I wanted to buy some clothes and also some small jewelry items for daily use.
When we reached the market, it was already quite crowded. Everywhere there were small shops and stalls full of colorful clothes, accessories and many other things. The environment was very lively, people were walking here and there, shopkeepers were calling customers and showing different items. This is something I like about such markets, everything feels real and full of energy. It is not like malls where everything is quiet and fixed, here you can talk, ask, compare and bargain.
First we started looking for clothes. There were many varieties like shirts, dresses and casual wear. I saw some very nice shirts for my husband, simple but stylish and good for daily wear. The shopkeeper told higher price in beginning but after some bargaining we got it in reasonable price. That moment always feels good when you know you saved some money. I also bought a few clothes for myself which were comfortable and looked nice. Quality was also okay according to price, so I was satisfied.
After that we moved to jewelry stalls. There were many small shops selling artificial jewelry like earrings, bangles and necklaces. I selected some simple pieces which I can wear regularly. Designs were modern and pretty. Again we did bargaining and got everything in good price. It is actually a skill, if you bargain well you can save a lot here. My husband was also helping and it made the whole experience more fun.
We spent quite some time in the market, walking from one shop to another. It was little tiring because of crowd, but still enjoyable. Sometimes we stopped in between just to relax for few minutes. I saw many families also shopping and everyone looked busy and happy in their own way. These small outings really help to refresh mind from daily routine.
After finishing shopping we came back home and honestly I was little tired but also happy with all the things we bought. When I reached my flat and went near window, I saw a very beautiful view. The sun was slowly going down and whole sky was looking orange and golden. Trees were looking dark in front of that bright sun and it was giving very peaceful feeling. After so much crowd and noise in market, this moment felt very calm and relaxing. I just stood there for some time and watched the sunset without saying anything. It felt like a perfect ending of the day. Sometimes these small moments give more happiness than anything else.
Overall, it was a very good day for me. Shopping was nice, we got everything in budget, and most importantly I got some quality time with my husband. These simple outings may look small but they create beautiful memories. I really enjoyed the whole day from market rush to peaceful sunset at home.
