Steem Cartoon : My submission of Wo-owl drawing challenge #2
Wind Up Wo-owl!
Theme: Musical Retro
My first time trying out this challenge, i decided to go back with the old skool medium that i always lovee to work with.
Watercolor and graphite on a Bockingford 300gsm watercolour paper. Deliberately incorporated the sephia tone with a dash of the iconic green of the wo-owl as well as the bold and sketchy graphite on a rough grain paper to get the mood~~
The theme triggered the memory of the legendary cassette and cassette player (walkman) which i was lucky enough to get to experience the 90s, the era of trasition of cassette player towards CD era!

First layer of the atmospheric colours.
Adding on glaze and shadows..
Finishing details, some splashes, signature and steem-cartoon logo....voila! 😁
