Charting a Growth

The last few weeks has been pretty amazing with quality posts coming from members of the #steem-cartoon community and a majority of these posts are student of @sireh from the Malaysian Multimedia University. We could not have been more proud of these achievements. The icing on the cap is that many of these young artist have managed to make their very first withdrawal.

We have organised our very first #steem-cartoon contest and a whopping 24 entries were received.

The Next Evolution

Steem cartoon will see their next major move in the inclusion of some big names in the cartoon and comic industry from Malaysia after the workshop in the National Museum on the 23rd January 2018. We will start to see some real amazing talents from local and abroad that will contributing contents to our community.

Some invitation has been extended to our friends from other countries from within the cartoon industry to also share an active participation in this community and we are hopeful to share some good news in the near future.

To those who have been supporting us from other communities, we are fully aware of your kind action and this support will not go to waste. We will ensure that the community continue to grow at the rate that it is now experiencing.

In the event that readers of our community post is mistaken, #steem-cartoon is not only a platform for artists to produce their work but also for any participants to write on art related issues such as reviews, opinions, sharing of ideas and technique or merely to talk about their experience with cartoon or comic.
