"Prove yourself as the best artist for the week"

Greetings to all my fellow steemians, participating in this contest today is such an interesting one, posting in this wonderful community is an awesome 😎 😎one, today I decided to draw the image that my favorite colour is in it ❤️

It’s the first color that ever felt alive to me. Not just a color, but a mood, a signal, a pulse. Red is what you see before you think. It’s the rush of a sunset bleeding across the sky, the deep stain of wine in a glass, I really love ❤️ this wonderful colour and I made up my mind to make it as the colour of the dress.

I love how it refuses to be ignored, because red as my favorite colour is a colour that is eye catching by every one, and I love using my rymes to describe it, Red doesn’t whisper. It announces. It’s the color of urgency and desire, of danger and love sitting right next to each other. When I wear red, I feel bolder, like I’m stepping into a version of myself that doesn’t second-guess. When I see red in a room - a chair, a painting, a single flower against a neutral wall - the whole space wakes up, I used my leisure time to read more about my favorite colour ❤️.

Red can be the warmth of a fire you huddle around, and the burn of a flame you can’t touch. It’s the color of stopped traffic lights and the color of “go.” That tension is why I keep coming back to it. It holds energy I want to be around,
For me, red isn’t just aesthetics, It’s a reminder to feel things fully, to move toward what matters, and to stop playing small. If life had a volume knob, red would be it turned all the way up.

Red isn’t just a color to me - it’s a feeling I chase.
It’s the color that doesn’t ask for attention, it demands it. I love how one splash of red can wake up an entire room, a whole mood, a whole day.

To me, red means alive. It’s the heat of a sunset, the rush of doing something bold, the quiet intensity of love and desire. It’s both a warning and an invitation at the same time, Wearing it makes me feel braver that I am, Seeing it reminds me not to play small, not to fade into the background. Red pushes me to feel everything fully and move toward what matters.

It’s my reminder to turn the volume up on life.

STEPS ON HOW I DREW MY FAVORITE COLOUR ❤️

Materials for the drawing

White embossed paper
Blue bick 🖊️ pen
Red colourer
I used only my pen, white paper and red colourer to draw it.

Step1
I made sure that the plan paper doesn't have any stains on it, I shaded with my blue bick pen 🖊️ so that no mistake will be made when drawing, shading helps us to avoid unnecessary mistakes so that the work will be clean and neat, and also shaded the hat first.

Step 2
I carefully and gradually hold the pen 🖊️ to avoid it to be so thick, if it is so thick the drawing will be full of mistakes because you can not clean pen 🖊️, pen is permanent.

Step 3
I made sure that curved the hand of the lady very well and I carefully repent.

Step 4
I started colouring the gown of the lady with my red colourer, I rounded up my drawing by making sure that they is no mistakes on it

The drawing took me 45 minutes to finish because I don't want to hurry myself up and draw nonsense

Me drawing today is the motivation @dequeen gave me in this wonderful platform and I bit my chest and say that I will continue to draw in my league time, and drawing needs patience and endurance for me, and I also wishing to be one of the winners that's my dream ever since.
