Greetings to all my fellow steemians, participating in this contest today is such an interesting one, posting in this wonderful community is an awesome 😎 😎one, today I decided to draw Gorilla 🦍.

Gorillas are the largest living primates and one of humanity’s closest relatives, having about 98% of our DNA, me drawing a gorilla today is what I have been practicing for many months now, and I saw a little opportunity and I drew it today 😍.

The Gorilla's 🦍 are found in tropical forests of central and eastern Africa. Mountain gorillas live in the high-altitude forests of Rwanda, Uganda, while western lowland gorillas live in the lowland forests of Gabon, Congo, and Cameroon, I didn't just draw the gorilla because I just want to I was moved and inspired to do so 😊, so I used my league time to read hard about the Gorilla's as a whole and everything about them.

Gorilla's 🦍 live in family groups , led by a dominant adult male (silverback). The silverback protects the group, makes decisions, and fathers most of the offspring. They spend most of their day eating, resting, and socializing, the reason why I love the Gorilla's 🦍 is the way there love and protect their selves and their children.

They’re mostly herbivores. Their diet consists of leaves, stems, fruit, and bamboo shoots. An adult male can eat up to 18 kg of vegetation a day that what makes them bigger than other creatures on earth 🌎, and the are classified as higher class animal because of the way there work, eat, and think 🤔, Gorillas play a key role in forest health by spreading seeds through their droppings. They’re also important for ecotourism, which supports local communities.

All gorilla species are critically endangered due to habitat loss, poaching, and disease. Conservation efforts focus on protecting their habitat and stopping illegal hunting.

Despite their size and strength, gorillas are generally gentle and avoid conflict unless threatened.

How I drew the Gorilla 🦍

Materials for the drawing

White embossed paper
*Blue bick 🖊️ pen
I used only my pen and my white embossed paper to draw the Gorilla 🦍

Step 1

I made sure that the plan paper doesn't have any stains on it, I shaded with my blue bick pen 🖊️ so that no mistake will be made when drawing, shading helps us to avoid unnecessary mistakes so that the work will be clean and neat.

step 2

I carefully and gradually hold the pen 🖊️ to avoid it to be so thick, if it is so thick the drawing will be full of mistakes because you can not clean pen 🖊️, pen is permanent.

Step 3

After the shading, I gradually coloured the skin of the Gorilla 🦍, Gorilla's as a whole has many hairs on their body so I did it very careful to avoid my work to be rough.

Step 4

I rounded up my drawing by making sure that they is no mistakes on it.

The drawing took me 4 hours to finish because I don't want to hurry myself up and draw nonsense

Me drawing today is the motivation @dequeen gave me in this wonderful platform and I bit my chest and say that I will continue to draw in my league time, and drawing needs patience and endurance for me, and with all due respect I would love to dedicate this drawing to my friend Cc @the-gorilla
