CRISES IN MY COUNTRY NIGERIA 😭

Greetings to all my fellow honourable steemians from all over the world 🌎, today the post I will be writing is CRISES IN MY COUNTRY NIGERIA
That has been driving every one crazy in my country Nigeria 🇳🇬 😭.

Firstly, Nigeria 🇳🇬 is a country that loves violence and killings all around the world as a whole, that makes it unbearable for us to sleep at night with our both eyes closed, because of fear 😨 of one thing and the other.

There is a particular state in Nigeria called Maiduguri, Life in Maiduguri has been shaped by years of conflict, and many families are dealing with more than one crisis at the same time,
Repeated attacks, bombings, and clashes with armed groups have killed and injured civilians. Even in the city, people live with the fear that an explosion or gunfire could happen without warning. Many have lost relatives, homes, and livelihoods to this violence.

Thousands of families have fled their villages and now live in camps around Maiduguri. The camps are overcrowded, with limited food, clean water, and shelter. Diseases like diarrhea, malaria, and malnutrition are common, especially among children. Flooding in recent years has destroyed tents and made conditions worse, and has made life unbearable and unbelievable for us to live in 😭😭.

With farms abandoned and markets disrupted, many people have no steady income. Inflation and the high cost of food and fuel make it hard to feed families. Young people face few job opportunities, which adds to frustration and hopelessness, Living through years of violence, loss, and uncertainty has taken a heavy toll. Many adults and children show signs of trauma, anxiety, and depression, but access to counseling and mental health support is limited.

Nigeria is currently facing several overlapping crises that affect security, the economy, and daily life:

Armed banditry in the North-West, insurgency in the North-East involving Boko Haram and ISWAP, and communal conflicts in the Middle Belt continue to displace communities and disrupt farming. Kidnapping for ransom has also become widespread, affecting roads and schools in multiple states.

Civilians has been suffering alot and the people that suffer the most is our soldiers that is fighting tirelessly to overcome them but our greedy leaders that loves bribery will not 🚭 allow them to complete their mission, God will guide and protect our soldiers Amen 🙏🏻

High inflation, currency volatility, and fuel subsidy removal have increased the cost of food, transport, and basic goods. Youth unemployment remains high, which contributes to social unrest and migration pressures, These issues have led to internal displacement, food insecurity in affected regions, and strain on health and education services. NGOs and government agencies are working to provide relief, but access remains difficult in insecure areas.

Please we need our greedy leaders to address these crises but it requires coordinated security operations, economic reforms to stabilize livelihoods, and community-level reconciliation to rebuild trust. International support and local governance also play key roles in stabilization efforts, but their own is only to estort money.
